March DisneyBound Challenge

You may recall from my Halloween outfit that I’ve recently fallen in love with the idea of DisneyBounding, which is when you create an outfit based on a Disney character, movie, ride, etc.

In March, many people who enjoy DisneyBounding take it to the next level and try to DisneyBound for as many days as possible in the month of March. Some people even have different Disney outfits for all 31 days of March!

I am not on that level yet, but I’ve been putting together a few outfits here and there. Here are the outfits I’ve put together this past month.

Mickey Mouse (Oscar night)

Marie (The Aristocats)

Eeyore (Winnie the Pooh)

So, I definitely wasn’t one of the participants who had a different DisneyBound for each day of March, but it was fun to put these together in a much shorter amount of time!

Fun facts:

  • The Halloween Snow White outfit took a total of 5 months to put together, from conceptualization to execution (and lots of time not thinking about it in the middle).
  • I shot my last 3 outfits in one day. It was a stressful 2 hours XD
  • My favorite from this month is my Marie DisneyBound, as I spent the most time planning that one out and got to experiment with my hair (a halo braid made from a hot pink extension), pink eyeshadow, and a kitten eye look.
  • This month, I created my outfits based on specific clothing items rather than starting from the character I had in mind, as I did with the Snow White outfit. (Hence, why I spent so long looking for the exact items I wanted for that one.)

I had a LOT of fun doing this!

Do you DisneyBound? If so, what were your favorites? If not, what would you consider doing?
Would you attempt the March challenge?

    • Thank you so much!! I’m trying to let myself wear dresses more these days. I fought them so much because I wanted to remain true to my tomboy self, but they’re so fun and you don’t have to match tops to bottoms! XD

March is over BUT nothing is stopping you from wearing Disney-inspired outfits as often as you can anyway 😉
