Andrew Zimmern: Best Ethnic Food in the U.S.

I’m not actually promoting this list of “best ethnic food in the US” because I’m sure that these can be debated HOTLY and I don’t want to find myself in the middle of a battle here.

BUT! I do have a photo listed for my Maryland hometown, which was listed for best Korean food. The editor of Food & Wine contacted me a little while back to ask me for permission to use that photo. I don’t think it’s a good photo to represent the restaurant in question OR the great Korean food that is available (I mean… it’s a lunch bento box, goodness) but I was pretty happy that they picked my photo and asked me to use it. 🙂

Do you agree with the places they listed? What places were totally snubbed? I’m really curious, and I admittedly don’t eat a lot of “ethnic” food that isn’t Asian or Asian American cuisine.
