Update on NaNoWriMo

Unfortunately, I will be bowing out of NaNoWriMo this year. I haven’t really written since that first burst of writing during week 1. Usually, my characters and their motivations write themselves, but since I had zero planning, my characters didn’t have any motivations.

It’s hard to write like that.

I will be shelving my project for next November, doing a little bit of research and development in the meantime so that I’m ready to write 50,000 words next year. It is already on my resolutions blog. (Can you believe I’ve started drafting a resolutions post already? I have almost 30 drafts for blog posts, so… I need to get to publishing!)

Eurotrip posts update!

I am finally done uploading my camera photos to Facebook, so I should be able to get started on putting up blog posts soon, yay!

I forgot how much I enjoyed this trip. It seems like forever ago. (Over 3 months… oops, I’m so behind.)

I also have a lot of mobile photos to upload AND tons of video footage that will be a pain in the butt to edit but I know it’ll be worth it.

Examples of videos to come:

  • Graffiti presence across the cities
  • Me struggling to climb down 200+ stairs… so imagine the climb up
  • LOTS OF VIEWS OF THE BALTIC SEAAAA

My computer’s motherboard zonked out on me this past weekend. @_@

I really hope I can fix it, but I should be able to salvage my hard drive. Whichever happens, I will be uploading the rest of my photos from my vacation ASAP (I still have to upload Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris, and my last few days in London).

THEN I will finish up the blog posts for all the cities. I will write all fast and furious until they are done so that they aren’t looming over my head as the weather starts getting really cold.

I’m trying to figure out how to best categorize and tag my posts here. Going through a bit of an overhaul, so please pardon the dust!

(Also, I’m furiously uploading my Europe photos to Facebook so that I will be able to insert photos in my blog posts that I promise I will have done before it’s 2014, really for real Shaquille O’Neal.)
