This 2006 short was included on my diamond edition of The Little Mermaid. If you are familiar with Hans Christian Andersen’s original story, you may be dubious that it was Disney-fied like The Little Mermaid was.

Don’t worry. This short film retains the incredible sadness that the original story had. It is set to “Nocturne from String Quartet No. 2 in D Major” by Alexander Borodin, and has no dialogue or sound.

Also I ugly-cried at the end. Ahem.
